Teacher Resources

One of the most helpful weekly newsletters that I receive through my email is from TeachersFirst. TeachersFirst is a large collection of lessons and ideas to use in the classroom along with other resources to support teachers. One of their services is to search out and review resources throughout the web that can be used in the classroom. Each email update contains a list of featured sites which you can quickly skim and investigate further if it is of interest to you. Along with a description of the site, they provide an explanation on how to apply it in your classroom. They also contain many interactive lessons which can be used on interactive whiteboards along with ideas for integrating Web 2.0 tools. One of the featured sites this week is 5 Sources for Free and Legal Images which can be used on your blogs and wikis. The best part of TeachersFirst – it’s free!

Mindy,
Fantastic share! This is a wonderful resource and does so much of the “evaluative” work for us. I am absolutely going to share your blog post with our area educators.
Thanks,
Lee Anne
I am always finding something worthwhile on this website. It is a great resource for teachers. Mindy
What a great resource! I can’t wait to get to school to see if I can access the sources for free and legal images. I certainly hope they are not blocked.
